Lee’s Disk Apparatus also known as Lee & Charton Apparatus is used to determine the Co-effecient of Thermal Conductivity of a bad Conductor.Amtech India Lee Disk Apparatus incorporates a cylinderical brass slab of diameter 110 mm and 10.5 mm thickness . Above this , rests a 50 mm deep hollow cylinder of the same diameter with inlet and outlet tubes for steam . Both the cylinders have radial holes for insertion of thermometers. The material under test is placed between the two cylinders.The appaaratus is suspended by strings attached to the lower cylinder . Supplied without thermometers
