e/m of an electron by Thomson Method experiment

Amtech India offers experimental setup for determining the value of specific charge e/m of an electron by Thomson method. The set up constitutes a power supply fitted with a Digital Voltmeter to measure the deflection voltage(0-200 volts DC).Potentiometers are mounted on the front panel for focus control, intensity Control & X, Y shift controls. Eight-pin octal base mounted is provided on the front panel to connect the CRT plug of the Cathode Ray tube (CRT) mounted on the wooden stand. The Equipment is also offered with a pair of Bar magnets, Compass and a Wooden stand having two arms, fitted with scales to measure the distance of the poles of the magnets and also accommodate cathode ray tube in its middle. Another wooden stand is also provided to place the compass box in the center.
